This year's Pocket Garden Tour takes you into the heart of Portsmouth history. You will see historic gardens that bring past needs and sensibilities to life, and also the gardens of modern day settlers in Portsmouth's historic center.
The self-guided tour includes seven private gardens graciously shared with us by their homeowners. In addition, enjoy four historic gardens connected to museum homes.
Along the route you will find musicians, artists, and refreshments. The route takes you past several commercial gardens making for a day full of gardens.

The 36th Pocket Gardens of Portsmouth Tour is a rain or shine event.
(Often the best time to tour the gardens is in a light rain.)
The map/brochure gives access to the tour for one person and can be used on either day of the tour.
Refunds are offered only in the situation of full cancellation of the event.
This is a rain or shine tour. We will cancel only if unsafe conditions occur on both days.
